Overview
Taking up Urban Monkey's brief on creating new sneakers for their brand, I created a concept video where their sneakers would have animated elements when scanned on their app or when using their Instagram filter.
Research
By reading and re-reading the brief, I got a better idea of what was wanted. I explored their website to understand their design language and existing brand style. I also gained better idea by looking at the animation style, timing, music, and style of existing sneaker ads.
Building the Concept
After getting clarity, I storyboarded out variations of the promo video. Then I started finding the appropriate music for the video. After asset creation, I started with stitching the video together timing it to the music.
